    The video asks the question if the GT3 RS is worth the money over the GT3 and then proceeds to take them 1/4 mile racing to get an answer. That is not how you answer the question and GT3's do not belong on a dragstrip. That said, it is cool to see independent acceleration numbers for them. The standard GT3 may even be the better drag racer despite having less power due to less aerodynamic drag. They are both very similar with 4.0 liter flat-6 naturally aspirated motors but the GT3 RS has 20 more horsepower. The GT3 RS is in the left lane and GT3 in the right lane: They are basically identical. 127 mile per hour trap speeds for 4.0 liter naturally aspirated motors in stock form is excellent. The GT3 RS manages 60-130 in 8.37 seconds: Now take it to the roadcourse where it belongs.

    Incredible gains here from Force-Fed Performance who put together this Kia Stinger GT. They picked up over 175 all wheel horsepower over stock and did so on a Mustang dyno. On a Dynojet, this car would easily be over 500 horsepower at the wheels. Look at the dyno overlay compared to stock: The torque difference is nearly 200 lb-ft at the wheels and it definitely comes in early in the powerband. The upgraded turbos drop of past 5000 rpm. At 5500 rpm though they are making almost 480 wheel horsepower compared to 300 stock. Note, that is achieved with MS109 and methanol injection. Further details below but these Stinger GT's are certainly providing some bang for the buck:

    Getting those dates from the track shortly. If you have any dates in mind you are free, fire away. Already cleared with BMS. Too many people are getting ready for Shift Sector and tuners are focused on that so cars will need some time for drag prep. I won't schedule anything so close to another event again.

    Yes, Porsche is doing a Targa 911 variant with the 992 generation. It is expected the the Targa 992 will follow the 991.2 in that they will only be available in all wheel drive. That makes for a very, very heavy 911 and the 992 variant may encroach on 3700 pounds. That is very heavy for a 911 but it seems there are enough Targa fans to justify the variant. With the number of Targas caught testing expect an official reveal in the next few months if not any time now.

    Yes, this is the same Heads/Cam Gen V Viper you saw posted the other day. It is a hell of a ride that is well driven and the owner has no problem posting his runs against just about anything. He runs some strong competition in the video below. He starts off with a 7XX whp Cadillac CTS-V. They do three runs and while the Caddy hangs in better on the second run it is overmatched. Next up is a Yamaha R6. It is always fun to see bikes run cars but wow the R6 gets pulled rather easily. An 800 whp C6 ZR1 on E85 with full bolt ons is next. The ZR1 is considerably stronger. Another C6 steps up but this is a 5XX whp NA LS3. It simply is blown away. A FBO F80 M3 on E85 steps up to the plate. Go home and get some bigger turbos M3, you're drunk. A TVS2300 blown Mustang GT Coyote with 800 whp is the final run. The Mustang surprisingly gets pulled too. This Viper is nasty.

    The Lamborghini Urus twin turbocharged 4.0 liter V8 is rated at 641 horsepower and it is supposed to be the baddest new performance SUV on the block. The twin turbo V8 is tweaked by Lamborghini for the Urus from the new Porsche architecture shared by VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group). Porsche rates the motor at 550 horsepower in their Panamera Turbo application and 541 horsepower in the Cayenne Turbo. In the Urus, Lamborghini is making more power at the wheels that either of the aforementioned Porsches have at the crank. Calculating just how much crank horsepower 575 all wheel horsepower translates to is not not as simple as it once was. The rule of thumb for automatic all wheel drive vehicles was 25% losses. That would put the Urus at 766 crank horsepower. With modern automatics being more efficient let's say losses are 20% even with all wheel drive. Thats puts the Urus at 718 horsepower. If you want to be more conservative and go to 18% that still works out to 701 crank horsepower. Yes, the Urus is underrated it is simply an argument as to how underrated it is. What does a stock 707 horsepower Jeep Trackhawk show on a Dynojet? The same 575 to the wheels: The blown Jeep is actually making much less torque than the turbocharged Urus. You could argue the Jeep is a bit underrated as well just not to the degree the Urus is. There is no denying the Lamborghini SUV is making over 700 at the crank. Where things get really interesting is with Fabspeed sport cats: With no changes to the tune the Urus V8 picks up massive gains through the curve. At 3000 rpm you see another 52 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. That is huge for just changing the primary cats to 200-cell sport cats. It is somewhat surprising the factory primaries are so restrictive. With an ECU tune we will see 800+ horsepower out of these with bolt ons. It's a monster.

    AudiBoost reported on this turbo kit by Under Pressure Racing Development back in February. The unique design caught our eye as did the beautiful manifold work. Under Pressure Racing Development now claims this kit is complete. Well, there is not any information available to go with their announcement. Pricing? Power? Specifications? Availability? Who is tuning it? Where are the meat and potatoes? The work is gorgeous: Perhaps we have different definitions of complete but it is not complete until it is actually proven to be working and can be replicated. Absolutely gorgeous work though.

    Centrifugal superchargers get a bad wrap for some reason but there is no denying the power and torque you see here. Not to mention centrifugals are the easiest to package and tune for which is a huge benefit that only helps with the price point of entry. Look at this monster: Who says a centrifugal can not make torque? Over 1200 lb-ft at the wheels. This car was built by Houston House of Power although they are not providing too many details. This is possibly a 427ci built motor setup.

    Everyone needs to calm down. Not every marque needs an SUV. With Lamborghini selling the Urus it seems someone at VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group) thinks there is a need for an even higher end sport utility vehicle as if the Bentley Bentayga was not enough segment overlap. Bugatti's CEO Stephan Winkelmann already is on record stating an SUV will not happen so why is this Bugatti SUV rumor being reported? For clicks, duh. It likely will not happen but car magazines love to create stories out of thin air. Just ignore the reports for now and actually listen to what the CEO says:
