    • GAD Motors already tuning the Lamborghini Urus SUV 4.0 V8 and getting over 800 horsepower

Lamborghini definitely left a bit of room in the Urus 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 for tuning. Keep in mind the Urus is rated at 641 horsepower and 626 lb-ft of torque stock. That is from the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 that Lamborghini builds and tunes themselves based on the VAG shared 4.0 block.

It is said to be at its core the Audi 4.0 TFSI V8 architecture but with modified cylinder heads and turbochargers that are Lamborghini specced. The bore x stroke are both 86mm while the Audi RS6/RS7 4.0 TFSI V8 has a bore x stroke of 84.5mm x 89.5mm. Notice the bore and stroke match the Panamera Turbo and its new 4.0 twin turbo V8. It seems to have more in common with the Porsche design.

Regardless, it makes a ton of power stock and over 800 with just an ECU tune:

Gad just topped 800 horsepower hitting 801.4 and 749.5 lb-ft of torque at the crank. They also topped 700 horsepower at all four wheels.

The torque curve itself is very impressive and power just keeps building toward redline. GAD's tune looks great but we wish the graph showed the baseline instead of just a wheel/crank overlay once tuned.

If the next generation RS6 and RS7 utilize a variant of this motor they will be plenty potent.
