    • Gintani tuned Ferrari 488 Pista vs. tuned McLaren 720S and tuned Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS

Ferrari upped their game considerably with the 488 Pista but it still is slightly behind the 720S in performance namely on the highway. Gintani recently tuned a few examples and suffice it to say the 488 Pista sees some large gains after a dyno tune.

The video below shows the Pista rolling in Southern California with a group of fast cars. The video is primarily downshifts and revving until you get to the 8:20 mark where the Pista runs the 720S.

      The winner? The 720S.

The Pista next squares off with a tuned 991.2 GT2 RS. They do not line up very well but the 488 Pista is the faster car despite the pulls being poorly done.

What do we learn? A stock Pista is slightly slower than a 720S and a tuned Pista is slightly slower than a tuned 720S. The Pista also seems to have better response down low.

Overall the video is poorly done but we will take what we can get.
